I am a Psychologist, born in Argentina and currently living in Turin. After graduation I studied the causes of accidents, later becoming a founding member of the Center for Psychological Research for the Study and Prevention of Accidents (CIPEA). My interest in the functioning of families and couples in crisis has defined my professional inclination, leading me to specialize in Multifamily Psychoanalysis in the Multifamily Structure Psychoanalytic Therapeutic Community (DITEM) in Buenos Aires, where I worked with psychiatric patients. I am also a member of the Italian Laboratory of Multifamily Psychoanalysis (LIPsiM) in Rome, and Magister in Family and Couple (IUSAM). I completed a course in Psychoanalysis in London at the British Psychoanalytic Society in 2018. I collaborated with the School for Parents at the Ricardo Gutierrez Children’s Hospital in Buenos Aires, where I worked with children and adolescents with psychosomatic disorders. In addition, I am former Coordinator of the Aosta Valley Multifamily Psychoanalysis Group, where I worked with patients with addictions. I am also former Coordinator of the International Group for Mental Health Professionals during COVID-19. I developed my clinical experience at the Multifamily Structure Psychoanalytic Therapeutic Community, and also through private practice with patients. Based on my clinical experience, I can say that people have an extraordinary transformative capacity. Individual psychotherapy and multifamily psychoanalysis groups can foster patients’ transformation and development, and enable them to cope with mental suffering. Complementary to other forms of therapy, the multifamily group model stands as an accelerator of individual and family processes in difficult situations to increase a person’s well-being. Prior to my degree in Psychology, my interest in languages led me to major in English Language and work as an English teacher.
